Simone is a distinguished professional with extensive expertise in mental health, wellness coaching, and exercise sciences. She’s a Registered Psychotherapist recognized by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Certified Canadian Counsellor acknowledged by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, seamlessly blending her skills for a holistic psychotherapy approach. Simone holds Master’s degrees in Counselling Psychology and Adapted Physical Activity, emphasizing her commitment to well-being.

With eight years at the Directorate of Fitness Human Performance Research team, Simone played a key role in setting fitness standards for the Canadian Department of National Defence, revealing her profound understanding of military challenges and their impact on mental health.

Simone’s global experiences across Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America, including humanitarian contributions, have shaped her holistic well-being philosophy. She actively volunteers to support sexual assault survivors, exemplifying her compassion.

As a dedicated mother, Simone prioritizes holistic fitness and wellness in her family’s life. Her person-centered, evidence-based approach, incorporating models like EMDR and Polyvagal Therapy, tailored with health and wellness coaching, underscores her commitment to healing and wellness.

Gillian Inksetter MA, RCC, RP

Gillian is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia and a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario.

Gillian’s personal experience taught her that as social beings, we’re not meant to go through life’s challenges alone.

Every person’s story is unique, and Gillian prides herself on not only being a witness to hear your story, but as a guide to help you heal it, ensuring you are in control of authoring the next chapters.

With a strong anchoring in both EMDR and CBT (the recommended approaches from The World Health Organization to treat trauma), Gillian expertly tailors your therapy to meet your needs.

Gillian’s extensive training includes (but is not limited to): EMDR, CBT (for Trauma and for Women’s Reproductive Mental Health), Addictions, Somatic Attachment Psychotherapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Infant Mental Health, Transition to Independence for Teens and Young Adults, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.

While earning her Master of Arts in Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, Gillian became a Music Director and Organist for St. Andrew’s Anglican Church. Then, just a few years after graduating with her MA, Gillian needed to exercise her directorial skills and so she accepted the Clinical Coordinator position with Doctors of BC. 

With her extensive training, clinical experience, and professional work experience, Gillian is sure to coordinate your individual, relationship’s, or family’s accelerated healing journey.
