Grigore Counselling & Associates

Thanks for being a guest!
Please watch for important preparation steps!

I’m so excited to interview you on The Mental Health Show With Robert Grigore!

Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the interview!

About the show...

This show is about demystifying and destigmatizing mental health in order to make it accessible to our audience.

Everyone struggles with mental health from time to time. Nobody escapes childhood unscathed, and statistically, we all know someone in our lives right now who is struggling (1 in 5 Canadians face a mental health illness each year, and the number raises to 1 in 2 for those over 40).

This means for every audience member tuning in, someone close to them (if not they themselves) need to hear what you have to say. At this time, the show is still new, and you are one of the first guests (thank you!), however, we’re not starting from scratch.

My personal network and Grigore Counselling & Associates’ network continues to grow. Across my socials I have over 50,000 followers, and some of my YouTube videos have seen great success (some videos have over 1000 views, one video has over 47,000 views, and another has over 118,000 views).

But this isn’t about reaching the masses (not yet anyway), this is about that one person tuning in who’s life could change by what you share on the show. Your personal and professional life experiences could literally save a life.

What you need to record...

Good Microphone

This is important for our audio quality. If you don’t have a professional mic, ear buds with a mic will do just fine.

Good Lighting

Natural Light is the best source. Face your screen so that you are near a window in front of you. Otherwise, a lamp or a light ring will work!

Strong Internet Connection

Please be do your best to ensure you have a strong internet connection. Ethernet connection (direct from the computer to the router) is best if possible!

Notes / Talking Points

You’ll get some questions ahead of time, but I let the conversation flow from there. You may wish to have a few notes on your main points and a few tips or resources ready.

Episode Format

Here’s what to expect when we record!

WE’LL CHAT BEFORE WE RECORD
We won’t be hopping right into the interview. I’ll answer any of your questions and we can go over our topic before we start and we will make sure your audio and lighting are good to go!

YOU’LL TELL YOUR STORY
I will prompt you with some questions, but this will be your opportunity to tell us about yourself and how you became the person you are today.

WE’LL PROVIDE VALUE FOR THE LISTENERS
We talk about your personal and professional life, and share any resources, or perspectives that helped you and which could help others as they progress in their life.

Grigore Counselling & Associates

I'm looking forward to it!

You’re going to do great! Think of this as just a conversation with a friend (if we’re not friends yet, we probably will be after the show!). It’s meant to feel relaxed and natural. If you make any “mistakes” just keep going – probably those minor slips of the tongue or “human moments” add to the authenticity of use both and the show. And of course, if there’s anything major that we don’t want in, we can always edit it out. No worries! If you have any questions, you can email me directly at: robert@grigorecounselling.com.

One more thing actually...

Since you’re going to be a guest on my show, I’d really appreciate if you would visit my YouTube channel and subscribe and also like a few of my past videos. This will not only help the channel be more visible in general, but it will ensure more people see your episode when it goes live! Thank you so much!
