I support individuals who are navigating emotional, psychological, and mental pain—often carried in silence. Many of my clients experience anxiety, depression, trauma, or a deep sense of disconnection, unsure of where to turn or how to begin healing.
My approach is holistic, culturally informed, and personalized. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts, uncover the roots of your struggles, and build healthier ways to cope. I consider the full context of your life—your identity, culture, community, and environment—so our work aligns with your values and goals.
My therapeutic modalities include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), Christian Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Experiential Therapy, Family Systems, Integrative, Multicultural, and Person-Centered.
Clients often leave our sessions with renewed hope, greater self-awareness, and practical tools to face life’s challenges. Over time, they experience reduced symptoms, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of purpose.
I am a medical graduate and current residency candidate, as well as a final-year Counselling Psychology MA student at Athabasca University. I bring over six years of experience across clinical and community mental health settings, including leadership roles in youth and family services. I have specialized training in ABA and PBS therapy models and have designed behavior plans for children with neurodevelopmental and emotional challenges.
Additionally, I’ve gained extensive clinical experience through observerships and traineeships affiliated with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in hospitals across BC such as Burnaby General Hospital, West Coast General Hospital, and Mount St. Josephs, working alongside licensed physicians. For the past five years, I’ve also served as Clinic Director at Cornerstone Psychiatric Clinic, providing trauma-informed care for clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more—always with a focus on empathy, collaboration, and meaningful transformation.
Fun fact about me: Even at 5 foot 1, I used to compete in tournaments when I was younger (even basketball!!).
