Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure if real change is even possible. There’s often a deep inner sense that something needs to shift, but no clear path forward.
My approach is grounded in the belief that transformation starts with connection; both with ourselves and others. I work relationally and holistically, helping clients build nervous system awareness, emotional resilience, and self-trust. Together, we make space for new ways of being, anchored in clarity, compassion, and curiosity.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a PhD in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and over 20 years of experience in counselling, education, and consulting. My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed, mind-body approach that integrates evidence based solutions to support clients experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, depression, life transitions, and emotional stuckness.
I also work as a speaker, educator, and creative collaborator, including delivering a TEDx talk and producing and hosting a documentary series about women in midlife reclaiming power and purpose.
My expertise incorporate several modalities, including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Culturally-Sensitive, Existential, Expressive Arts, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Narrative, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Positive Psychology, Relational, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Somatic, Strength-Based, and Trauma-Focused.
I’m a lifelong learner and a relationship builder at heart. Lately, that’s meant stepping into new creative territory: acting classes, collaborative storytelling, and finding new ways to blend curiosity, play, and purpose. Also: I’m always up for a tea and deep conversations (preferably together).
